FAQs

IELTS coaching questions, answered.

How long does IELTS coaching take?

Most students need 4-8 weeks of structured coaching depending on their starting level. Our diagnostic test identifies your current band so your plan targets the fastest improvements first.

What IELTS score do universities require?

Most universities ask for an overall 6.0-6.5 with no band below 5.5-6.0. Top UK, US, and Canadian programmes often expect 7.0. We map your target score to your chosen universities during counselling.

Paper-based or computer-delivered IELTS - which is better?

Both are identical in content and scoring. Computer-delivered gives more typing time in Writing and faster results (3-5 days). We train you on the format you book.

How is the overall band calculated?

The overall band is the average of your four section scores, rounded to the nearest half band (averages ending in .25 round up to .5; .75 rounds up to the next whole band). Use our calculator above to check.
